My name is David Cooke. I was an electrical engineer with interests in fantasy fiction [from my Mum] and science fiction [from my Dad], hence https://classic-sf.com.

I was also involved in folk singing and have a strong interest in music, hence this site.

Now I've retired / been made redundant, I am concentrating more on my writing and attempting theatrical writing, acting and directing - together with maintenance of my websites.
